Cacao Ceremony & Spirit Boat Journey

Celebration of the Full Moon

  • 40 US dollars
  • Tranquil Harmony, LLC

Service Description

Shamanic cultures have used Cacao in ceremonies to enhance another modality (meditation, sound baths, dance, breathwork) to help bring participants into an altered state. Cacao is not psychedelic or hallucinogenic, and will not make you feel "high". It does contain as much caffeine as a cup of coffee. Join Shamanic Practitioner Lindsay Ohmstead for a Cacao Ceremony and Spirit Boat Journey on Sunday, October 9th at 10 am. Bring an open mind, yoga mat, or blanket to sit on. You may want to bring something to cover your eyes as we journey and something to write notes on for the messages that you will receive. Please come a little early to settle in so we can start on time. What to expect? Lindsay will serve a warm Cacao drink of purest cacao and water, sweetened slightly to dull bitterness. Remember, this is the purest form of chocolate. (The darker the chocolate, the more bitter the taste, but the higher the benefits!) She will lead the group on a short meditation as the cacao starts flowing through your body, allowing your heart center and high to open up. Lindsay will provide education on Shamanic Journeying and lead the group on a 20-minute journey to the Spirit of the Full Moon where participants can bask in the glow of the recharging power, ask questions of the moon on how to reset/to recharge, get clarification on questions regarding the guiding cycles of the moon and how to work with them. An opportunity to share experiences will follow. The cost for this event is $40. This event may last up to 2 hours depending on participation and discussion. Looking forward to seeing you all there!
