Service Description
Meditation practices have been around since antiquity and have been practiced in many cultures and religions. Meditation is used to calm one’s mind and to achieve mental clarity. It has also been used to reduce stress, anxiety, depression and pain. Practice of meditation has spread from India into today’s modern world in private and business life. Stress has become a familiar part of our culture but how we learn to deal with it is our choice. Meditation may serve as a holistic alternative to help us work out our stress. In this class, Lindsay Ohmstead (Psychic Medium and Reiki Practitioner) will help you learn about the history and reasoning behind meditation. There will be discussion about the different methods of meditation. You will also be able to practice a guided meditation in a safe environment. At the end of this class you will be prepared to practice meditation on your own. Cost for this class is $40. Pre-payment required. Non-refundable.
